Wood

The furniture you find at Liberty is designed and manufactured to provide enjoyment for a lifetime with minimal care.

For wood products, simply dust with a clean, soft lint-free cloth; remember to always dust with the grain of the wood.

Avoid placing wood furnishings or colored upholstery in direct sunlight. Ultraviolet light fades colors. Closing your blinds during peak sun is helpful.

Don't expose wood to extreme changes in temperature. Try to keep the temperature between 68 to 72 degrees. Uncontrolled humidity can cause wood to swell and crack.

Protect all surfaces from temperature extremes. Dining tables need to be protected with table pads. Protect surfaces from contact with water (condensation or spills), use water sparingly to clean.

Keep surfaces clean and dusted. The most common cause of scratches is moving objects across a piece that does not have a clean surface. Even a small amount of grit can cause considerable damage if a soft object is dragged across the surface.

Do not drag your furniture. Even inches can damage your beautiful furniture.

Keep solvents such as nail polish remover, perfume, alcohol and liquids such as carbonated beverages away from furniture surfaces.
